About Tilman Vogler
Hi!
I am Tilman, born at the end of the 80s in the west of Germany, travelled for several years on different continents after finishing school and have been calling Berlin my home for a decade by now.
What fascinates me: people, their living environments and stories. Be it at a wedding or a documentary project far away – ultimately my photography is about what emotionally moves and connects us.
I am a curious, positive person and this is reflected in my images. Of course, I primarily provide a service as a wedding photographer. But I see myself more like a companion of yours for a certain time and always do my best to exceed your expectations – multilingual if needed, by the way, in German, English, Spanisch, French or Italian.
What I do when I’m not photographing weddings, other events or do desk-work?
You might find me somewhere with friends, photographing while travelling (especially in Italy) or at Stattlab, a community-run photo-lab in Berlin Wedding that I helped set up. By the way, I offer workshops here and you can develop your own analog wedding photos in the darkroom.
Besides I work as an honorary photographer for Weddingweiser, a local blog / online magazine, took a course at Ostkreuzschule and work as a photo editor at a big German TV station and do web design projects from time to time.
I enjoy cooking, riding my motorbike or working in the garden (the BBC visited us some years ago).
